One Straw Society invites the community to its Annual General Meeting and Potluck, Sunday, Dec. 3 at Davis Bay Hall.
Come discover what One Straw Society has been up to this last year and where the organization is currently. The board is excited to be in a redevelopment phase and is continuing to work on restructuring and planning to support sustainability and growth of the organization.
This is an inspiring time of opportunity for One Straw Society. They looking for new people to join the board of directors and others to help steward the vision for and run the society. They will be doing an in-depth board recruitment in the new year and encourage you to contact them if you or someone you know is interested in becoming a board member.
The current board of directors – Crystal Boeur, Mary Degan, Douglas Fugge and Ian Hunt – will run for election again.
Members are vital to the operation and existence of One Straw Society. Your ideas and suggestions for the future are critical. At this year’s AGM, they will be hosting a World Cafe process to glean important information from membership. Please attend and share your ideas.
The community is invited to come together to celebrate each other and the abundance we share. All are welcomed. Please bring a potluck item to share if you can.
