On Sunday, March 1 starting at 3:30 p.m., Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast will host its second single-malt whisky tasting event at the ReStore in Sechelt.
Jon Bell, a well-known whisky expert, will be the master of ceremonies for the fundraiser. Participants who attended the last tasting enjoyed Bell’s background information as to where the whisky originates in Scotland and what to look for in different single-malt whiskeys. Along with the tasting there will be a meet and greet with refreshments and raffle prizes. The festivities will start off in a traditional way with the playing of the bagpipes.
All proceeds will go towards Habitat’s Sunshine Coast home-building projects.
