Ken Crozier, Margie Garrard, Ed Hawkins, Gwen Hawkins, Doreen Henry, Deborah Pepper and Russ Jones were thanked for their past service as they left the board.

Habitat for Humanity exists to help low income families break the poverty cycle through home ownership. Habitat builds homes as economically as possible using volunteer labour and donated materials and services, and then sells them to the families at an affordable price.

Over the past several years Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast has sold homes to six families on the Coast and is currently working to complete 10 more at the Sunshine Coast Village project in Wilson Creek.

For fundraising Habitat operates the ReStore and the can and bottle recycling depot in Sechelt. Volunteers for construction, the ReStore, and recycling, and other support are always needed and welcome. Please call 604-885-6773 if you would like to become involved in any way.
