Capilano University Sunshine Coast is offering a business administration certificate program (BADM) in September 2015.
These foundation courses for a career in business will be offered over three terms and structured in a flexible/part-time manner to allow students to complete them while working full-time.
“It is great to be bringing this program to the Sunshine Coast campus in a format that will mean students can earn their certificate in half the amount of time that was previously possible,” said campus developer Jules Smith. “With the many small businesses and entrepreneurs on the Coast, we have experienced an increase in demand for these courses. There are many opportunities that these courses can lead to both in employment and further post-secondary education.”
The BADM program will offer two courses per term in each of the fall 2015, spring 2016 and fall 2016 terms. Courses will alternate one week face-to-face and one week online, allowing students to be in class one evening a week from 4:30 to 7:20 p.m. Students in the program will be able to complete all of their BADM certificate at the Sunshine Coast campus.
This certificate is the pathway for people to continue on to a continuing studies bookkeeping certificate, a BADM diploma or even a degree.
