Coastal Weddings and Events, together with a team of Sunshine Coast businesses and exhibitors, are coming together for a bridal fair and fashion show this Saturday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sechelt Band Hall.
The wedding fair, with a fashion show at 1 p.m., will feature more than 30 booths, exhibits and inspiration from the Coast’s top wedding professionals offering the newest ideas in wedding planning.
New this year is a consignment wedding dress sale, where past brides can sell their wedding dresses and future brides can try on dresses and find their gown right at the show.
“Brides can find everything from a local venue to host their wedding, wedding planners to help with all the details, caterers to make sure everyone is fed and DJs to make sure the dance floor is full all night long,” said Melissa Tripp, owner of Coastal Weddings and Events. “They can order invitations and favours, see photographers’ work, sample wedding cake, book a hairstylist and find accommodations for their guests all in one day.”
Tickets are free, available at the door.
