Wooden boat lovers with a small boat they’d like to show to the public are invited to be part of this year’s 10th annual Heritage and Hand-crafted Small Wooden Boat Festival.

The Festival takes place as part of Sea Cavalcade celebrations on Sunday, July 27, sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives.

If you own a heritage wooden boat you’ve restored yourself or had professionally renewed, have a wooden rowboat, kayak, dinghy, day sailer or canoe you’ve built yourself or are a professional builder who’d like to show your custom wooden boats, be part of this show.

Do you have a painted plywood pram or clinker skiff that’s been in the family for three generations? Well, show it off.

Even if you have a vintage wooden boat in rough shape but with a rich history that you can talk to other enthusiasts about, this is the place to share it.

Fibreglass boats that have been molded directly from classic wooden hulls may also be welcome, but will be decided on a case-by-case basis. There is a maximum size limit for this show of 20 feet, and boats will be shown on grass, not in the water.
