International Conference Services (ICS) recently donated four beautiful bikes to children here on the Sunshine Coast.
“This is an amazing gift for low-income families in our community,” said Kelly Foley of SC Community Services. “It means a lot to these kids to be able to ride their bikes and participate in the same activities as their friends and neighbours.”
The donation was made in honour of past ICS owner, Franziska Kaltenegger.
Last summer, a team of ICS staff gathered at Kaltenegger’s home in Roberts Creek to assemble the bikes. Kaltenegger also manages the sponsorship program for Suncoast Racquet and Tennis Club, which provides funding for schools to provide free professional tennis lessons to children.
