A different kind of shopping

Locally managed and family-owned event company Amarose Events promises to shake up the shopping experience here on the Sunshine Coast.

Locally managed and family-owned event company Amarose Events promises to shake up the shopping experience here on the Sunshine Coast.

The two sisters, Sasha Hanson and Ky-Lee Hanson, aim to make a difference through experiential marketing, giving you a free service along with your shopping and always supporting a charity.

Amarose Events will be hosting their first large scale, free admission, shopping event in support of the Elves Club, this weekend at Kinsman Hall on Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Titled the Holiday Bliss Gift Fair, it supports local entrepreneurs that are focused on quality and health and offering a service with sale.

Vendors at the fair will be giving free demonstrations in a staged area as well as offering free or discounted services such as mini manicures from Hand Them Over, free skin analysis from Ky-Lee at the Arbonne Booth, yoga and fitness tips from Myoga, and holiday music to get everyone into the spirit from Vocal Motion Entertainment.

The event is fundraising for the Elves Club through an interactive raffle, healthy coffee from Javita and photos with Santa from Kat Oke Photography. For added convenience there will be a coat check and shopping bags by donation.

Parents, come take advantage of the supervised kids colouring station while you shop. To recharge during your shopping experience, visit the pop-up organic restaurant from Aztec Enterprises.
