This Saturday, April 5 is the Easter ham and turkey meat draw and pie auction at the Legion. The early bird at 3 p.m., with the main draw at 4.

April 7 to 17 Harbour Gallery will be exhibiting "Watercolours Only" by member artist Nefri Lyske. The collection of paintings, a great variance of realistic subjects shows Nefri's ability to express her with colour. The Gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

On Tuesday, April 8 Pender Harbour Women's Connection will welcome Joan Martin presenting on the Third World Eye Care Society 10 a.m. at The School of Music. Bring your old glasses to the meeting or drop them off at FYI doctors in Wilson Creek to be recycled.

The Pender Harbour Reading Centre annual general meeting is Wednesday, April 9 at noon at the School of Music in Madeira Park. There will be a potluck lunch, followed by the meeting.

The same day St. Mary's Auxiliary PH Branch will hold their monthly meeting at the Lily Lake Community Room at 1:30 p.m.

The ladies will be selling tickets for their raffle for cash prizes every Friday at Ambush corner outside the IGA.

Register now and 'get your golf on in a relaxed and fun environment at the Pender Harbour Golf Course. Adult coaching and clinics for the beginner, rusty and intermediate golfers start Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. and run weekly. Cost of $40 includes instruction, materials, and use of the facilities for four sessions. There are separate male and female programs.

Harbourside Friendships invites everyone to come out for a morning of fun and play your favourite game, Bingo card or dice games Thursday, April 10. Start off with coffee at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Hall. Hot lunch will be served at noon for $10. Call Cathy at 604-883-9760 for more information.

Bingo every Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Community Hall always has room for new players and is in need of better attendance.
