Pender Harbour and Egmont will be in full bloom with daffodils for sale this weekend supporting the annual Cancer Society fundraiser.
Locations include Backeddy Pub, Garden Bay Post Office, IGA, Petro Can, and Cross Roads Grill.

The Pender Pool has a great April promotion - get a one month all-inclusive membership for only $25, valid from April 1 to 30. This includes the pool, gym and all drop-in fitness.
Other activities at the pool to note is the upcoming youth night next Friday, April 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. and the registration deadline for the kayaking pool rescue session with instruction by Alpha Adventures is also next Friday, April 4. Instruction will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. for ages 12 to 18 and from 4 to 6 p.m. for ages 19 and up.
Time to sign up for the 13th annual April Tools Wooden Boat Challenge taking place April 26 presented by the Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society.
There will be cash prizes, award for the best looking boat -the Spiffy Skiffy award, and the coveted Broken Paddle trophy. Next Thursday, April 3 Harbourside Friendships invites everyone to "show and tell." Bring something interesting to share in a group setting. Join the group at the community hall at 10:30 a.m. for coffee. Hot lunch for $10 will be served at noon.
