This Friday, Feb. 9, Pender Harbour Music Society’s Coffee House at the School of Music welcomes to the stage Devon Hanley, recording artist singer, songwriter and pianist; Edmund Arceo, tenor with piano accompaniment; and Nancy and Joanne, vocal harmonies with guitar. Doors open at 7 p.m., music at 7:30 p.m., $10 suggested donation at the door. Coffee and goodies sold.

Sunday, Feb. 11 singer songwriter Katrina Bishop playing both piano and guitar will mix pop, jazz and musical theatre with a little Celtic and country starting at 2 p.m. at the School of Music. Tickets $25 at Harbour Insurance, Sechelt Visitor Centre and online at penderharbourmusic.ca/concert-tickets. 

Women’s Connection is celebrating its 19th anniversary with a Valentine’s Party Feb. 13 starting at 9:30 a.m. Please join them for chat, games with prizes and special refreshments. Wear something red and join in the fun! 

Looking for a gift or a beautiful card for your Valentine? The Harbour Gallery will have a special opening this Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. to coincide with the Katrina Bishop concert at the School of Music. 

Bingo is back on Thursday, Feb. 15. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Early birds games at 6:30 p.m., regular games at 7 p.m., 50 call $720 jackpot. Please come support Pender Harbour Community Club bingo! 

Pender Harbour Com-munity School offers drop-in programs four nights a week at the PH Secondary School gym. Pickleball, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Floor hockey on Tuesdays 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for boys in grade 10 and older. Soccer Wednesdays 7 to 9 p.m. Basketball on Fridays 7 to 9 p.m.

The popular Indian cooking classes with Sushma are back. Feb. 26 enjoy creating curried chicken, curried chickpeas, rice and roti. March 12 cook up tiki, curried cauliflower and potatoes and lentils. Each class is $55 and runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at PH Secondary School in the Foods Room. Registration is required; call the PHCS at 604-883-2826.
