Christmas 2017 in the Harbour is here. The next few weeks, the calendar is full of festive events for everyone. 

Serendipity Craft Fair is this Saturday, Nov. 25. Come enjoy this fun, festive family event. The Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be there with their famous bake sale tables laden with delicious, homemade holiday treats, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pender Harbour Community Hall. 

Dec. 1 is a special evening in the Harbour so come early. The Euspiria Café will start off the festivities at 4:30 p.m. with hot chocolate and cookie decorating. Please bring a donation for the Food Bank. The wow time is 5 p.m., as the tree lighting ceremony gets underway with beautiful illuminations and music from the Community Carollers. And have a special visit with Santa and a photo in front of the Christmas scenes. 

The Pender Harbour Community Club’s annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale is next Saturday, Dec. 2. Two beautiful handcrafted quilts will be up for auction at this event. 

The Vintage Christmas Market at Sarah Wray Hall is Dec. 2, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shop for those special gifts, traditions and treasures, enjoy music and treats. Book a table and/or donate vintage items by contacting Ken Johnson at 604-883-0681. Proceeds from refreshments support the Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society. 

Sunday, Dec. 3 come join the furry fun at Pet Pics with Santa at Sunnycrest Mall 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be treats and coffee, a bake sale, and the No Flea Flee Market will have endless goodies at bargain (donation) prices. 

Seniors Initiative has great gift offerings. Purchase gift coupons for their weekly activities, $3 each or a book of eight for $20. And book your ticket for the Polar Express, just $5 for Dec. 9 or 12. Contact Marlene, 604-883-9900. 

Everyone is invited to a fabulous outdoor Christmas gathering, PODS Pier Party, Dec. 9 from 3 p.m. at Irvine’s Landing. Come enjoy live music, carolling, Christmas lights, food and treats, PODS flag raising and a big bonfire. Everyone is welcome.
