This Friday, Jan. 30, the Youth Group will be meeting at the Community Hall.
Posters will be up at both schools for events from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Youth are welcome to drop in from 5 to 7 p.m. and enjoy table tennis, foosball, and fun!
The spirit of Scotland was embraced by all at the 39th Robbie Burns night celebration at the Pender Harbour Legion Saturday night, Jan. 24. The Coast Fiddlers spectacular performance had all marvelling at their amazing talent and then dancing and singing along. Our own Pender Harbour Pipe Band had hearts pounding, hands clapping and emotions running high. Cherished stories and poems were shared. Thank you to everyone who played, sang and spoke and the fine team of the Legion executive and their hardworking volunteers for this very special and memorable evening.
Come on down to the Legion for their Super Bowl XLIX Party this Sunday, Feb. 1.
Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. Watch the game on the big screen. There will be fun and games and prizes. Bring your appetite and enjoy delicious chili, super snacks and free hot dogs! Beer specials too! Everyone is welcome. Come early and test your luck at the meat draw from 1 to 2 p.m.

Harbourside Friendship meets every Thursday at the Community Hall.

The Pender Harbour Community Church would like to send out a big thank you to all of the organizations and individuals that generously donate to the food bank. The food bank is open every second Monday from noon to 12:30 p.m. The next day will be Feb. 9.
