The Bargain Barn thrift store hours for June, July and August are 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The volunteers are looking forward to helping you find all kinds of wondrous treasure. The proceeds help provide essential support for your Pender Harbour Health Centre. The Bargain Barn is definitely my favourite place to shop and socialize.
A Celebration for Seniors takes place this Tuesday, June 3 at the Pender Harbour Community Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The celebration includes presentations, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, music by Joan & Ted and a free lunch.
Next Thursday, June 5 Harbourside Friendships invites everyone to a very fun morning of karaoke with Edmund. Start the morning off with coffee at 10:30 am. Hot lunch is served at noon for $10. For more information please call Cathy at 604-883-9760
The Rotary Club of Pender Harbour presents “Wines from Spain” on Saturday, June 14 at the Pender Harbour Golf Course. Sommelier Helga Mehl will preview selected fine wines from Spain. Enjoy assorted tapas by the Back Nine Bistro and wine auction. This event is a fundraiser for local youth projects. Tickets are $75 available at the SC Credit Union and Madeira Park veterinary hospital.
The same evening, Saturday, June 14 Driftwood Players Theatre Group and Comfort Food Catering have partnered to present dinner theatre “Murder at the Reach” at the Community Hall, a great pairing not to be missed. To book a table or more info please call Doug at 604-740-2077.
