The Pender Harbour Golf Club is pleased to announce Monday mixed twilight scrambles start May 26 at 4 p.m. Dinner will be available.

Men’s golf and steak night starts Thursday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m.

Women’s Connection welcomes guest speaker Randy Pickets, president of the Pender Harbour Advisory Council (PHAC) to their meeting this Tuesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at the School of Music.

The council exists to support the vitality of the communities of the Pender Harbour area. Pickets will speak about the accomplishments, goals and future plans of the PHAC.

Next Thursday, May 29 Harbourside Friendships will be taking a boat trip to Hotham Sound to enjoy lunch at the Back Eddy Pub. Please contact Cathy for more information at 604-883-9760.

Our Community School continues to offer great programs.

This Sunday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to noon is the ladies outdoor shoot at the Sechelt Rod and Gun Club.

Red Cross babysitters course is Sunday, June 1 at the Pender pool from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Computer Cafe is every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community School for just a $5 drop-in fee. For more details on these and other programs call 604-883-2826 or visit www.pendercommunity.ca.
