Don’t miss the Halfmoon Bay Branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary’s Craft, Bake and Plant sale this Saturday, Nov. 25 in the Trail Bay Mall, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Their jewelry and bag sale is coming up Dec. 10 at the Thrift Shop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can pick up gift vouchers in $10 denominations redeemable at the Thrift Shop. 

The next Halfmoon Bay Healthcare Auxiliary meeting is Dec. 11 at the Blue Ocean Golf Course at 10 a.m. with lunch to follow their meeting. Members should contact Shelley Grainger for tickets. 

The Halfmoon Bay Community School is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair on Nov. 29 and 30 from noon to 6 p.m. in the school library. It is open to everyone and makes great Christmas presents. 

Please note the change of time for pickleball Nov. 29. Pickleball will start at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Halfmoon Bay Community School gym, Northwood Road. All equipment is provided. 

Breakfast with Santa will be held 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 16 at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School, a community event where everyone is welcome. 

Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 children, and $20 for a family and include a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Tickets are available at Halfmoon Bay Café, Welcome Woods Market, Halfmoon Bay General Store and in Sechelt at Pastimes toy store. 

The Sunshine Coast Herring Enhancement project is looking to expand the scope of its program into Halfmoon Bay and Secret Cove. A team is needed to assemble and install, from January to March, artificial habitat at the best suited docks. If you are interested, please contact Sam Bowman at 778-899-4518.
