Halfmoon Bay Happenings

Halfmoon Bay

Please join Halfmoon Bay Elementary School for its annual Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday, April 5 starting at 2 p.m.

The Halfmoon Bay fire department will be on hand to sound the opening siren for the hunt to begin. The school thanks the generosity of the Welcome Woods Market and the firefighters for their donation of the eggs and to the student council for planning this wonderful family event.

The Welcome Beach Community Association (WBCA) hosts its annual membership drive on April 11 at the Halfmoon Bay Café.

The WBCA supervises the HMB Country Fair, Breakfast with Santa, Apple Festival, Music in the Park, a family picnic and are very active with other social events within Halfmoon Bay. Everyone is welcome join and there is no cost.

Halfmoon Bay Elementary School would like to send out a special thank-you to everyone for their generous support of their recent food bank drive. As a result of your help they won a friendly competition with West Sechelt Elementary School and of course, the biggest winner is the food bank.
