The St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary Halfmoon Bay branch is holding its annual auxiliary bake, craft and plant sale next Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt. There will be lots of Christmas gift items available.
Drop-in pickleball continues at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School with the next session next Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Plan to arrive by 7 p.m. for registration. All skill levels are welcome. Dress appropriately (runners and work out gear). All equipment is provided. Cost is $3 per session. All sessions will be on Wednesdays until Dec. 10. Email doncunliffe@gmail.com for more information.
Please make note that Halfmoon Bay Childcare Centre Society will have their annual general meeting on Monday, Nov. 24 in the Halfmoon Bay Elementary School library.
Plans are underway for a community event — A Giving Christmas — breakfast with Santa for the benefit of our local food bank.
On Dec. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School there will be a pancake breakfast with Santa. Tickets will be on sale soon. Adults $6, kids $4 and family tickets for $20, which includes a photo with Santa.
