Halfmoon Bay Happenings

Halfmoon Bay

Kudo’s to Wendy Pearson, Sue Lamb, Pamela Richmond, and Tabitha Abbie Corman who put together a family picnic last weekend, which turned out great, a nice relaxing family friendly atmosphere. The addition of Joe Stanton walking, singing and playing guitar was perfect! At the very least, everyone met someone new and the kids had a blast!

The total attendance was 44 adults and 17 kids, so 61 in total, not bad for the first family picnic. Wendy had an 11-year-old ask at the end if we were doing this every year, and when asked, if she thought that was a good idea…she replied "yes it was a lot of fun.”

Anne Niko’s comment summed up the general opinion, “What a lovely evening out ... trivia, scavenger hunts, zillions of cute kids, catching up with friends, meeting some new ones, a little sunset paddle-boarding and cake This was fun, let's do it again!”
