Come on down to the Legion this Friday, Jan. 16 for dinner and live music. Enjoy the melodies of Bonar Harris from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dinner is served from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Legion also hosts Open Jam with A.D.D. on Tuesday, Jan.  20 starting at 7:30 p.m. Dinner is also being served from 5 to 8 p.m. with a special southern-inspired menu.

The Legion hosts its general meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

A reminder that there are still some tickets left for Mindil Beach who are back in the Creek on Jan. 24, also at the Little Legion.

The Roberts Creek Library is back open with a huge selection of winter reading.

The friendly staff welcomes you on Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The winter Farm Gate Market is still on Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m. inside the Roberts Creek Community main hall. There is fun, friendly people, organic winter produce, flat breads, preserves, fruit pies and artisan crafts. The market is also next door to the kitchen where Rashmi serves heart healthy Indian fusion meals. (Must be pre-ordered).

The 6th Roberts Creek Scout Group is back in action after its Christmas break offering great outdoor and life skills for Beavers (ages 5 to 7), Cubs ages 8 to 10) and Scouts (ages 11 to 14). For more information please call 604-741-7282.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, Jan. 31 for the Baffle of the Bands — a fundraising concert for the Roberts Creek Community Association to help them install baffles at the Creek Hall.

Doors open at 8 with the show starting at 8:30 p.m. This 19-plus event includes performances by Bits of String, The Country Boys, The Midds, Fat Fish Creek, Bold Kelly and Muffdusters.
