Roberts Creek

Drop by the Little Legion tonight (Friday), Aug. 15 for a great dinner with live music by Denise Olson. Dinner begins at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, Aug. 16 at 9 p.m., the Legion offers the A.M. Project. Sounds interesting, so come on by and check them out.

The shoreline and land art workshop with U.K. land artist Viveka Bowry and local artist Sarita Moodie is this Sunday, Aug. 17 from 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1408 Park Avenue in Roberts Creek.

Join the artists as they guide you in this one-day exploration of making art in cooperation with nature. The Sustainable Living Arts School is hosting the workshop. Register via email [email protected] or phone 604-865-1633.

You now have one week left to gather your unwanted hard cover books and deliver them to the Roberts Creek Library just in time for their annual book sale on Creek Daze.

The Library is open Tuesday and Thursdays from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If the library is closed you may leave donations at the General Store.

Shop locally and support the Heart Market on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Roberts Creek.

On Wednesdays at the Hall you can visit the Farm Gate Market from 3 to 6 p.m.

On Thursdays, try Curry in the Creek from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hall. Drop by anyone or all three of these events and you are sure to find good quality produce/products, meet old friends and acquire new ones.

Creek Daze is only a week away.

Start getting your Higgledy Piggledy entry ready, or making plans to visit all the exciting happenings at the Pier. There will be vendors, food, cotton candy, games, and local performers including: Butler in the Hey, Brothers in Farms, The Remnants and Skraeling.
