Sunshine Coast golfers Jesse Ostrosky and Connor Richey are both off to sizzling starts on the Vancouver Winter Golf Tour.

Both are competing in the amateur division and both have already secured wins.

Ostrosky won the first event, shooting a 72 for the division win and a third-place finish among professionals at the Sandpiper Golf and Country Club.

Richey won the second event at the Chilliwack Golf and Country Club on Oct. 30, shooting a personal best four under par (67), which was also third out of the professional division. He had two eagles and three birdies on the round.

On Nov. 6, Ostrosky won the third event at Mayfair Lakes shooting a 71, which was once again good enough for third place in the professional division.

Both golfers were neck and neck right down to the 18th hole when Ostrosky sunk a birdie on the 18th for the win. Their next event is at Pagado Ridge on Nov. 13.
