The Sunshine Coast is a fantastic place with incredible biodiversity and many people and groups working towards preserving it.
The Sunshine Coast Conservation Association (SCCA) is havinga party - a Celebration of Conservation - to highlight all the great work that is happening by bringing together these people and the organizations they represent.
This Saturday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. join the party attheRoberts Creek Hall for music, dancing, food and prizes. The SCCA will also auction twobeautiful art pieces, one by local artist Ron Stevens.
Dance to the lively music of Brothers in Farms and The Knotty Dotters Marimba Band, and get to know the SCCA member groups. There will be information from Elphinstone Logging Focus, the Trails Society, Sunshine Coast in Transition, Deer Crossing The Art Farm, and many more.
The SCCA works with local government, industry and the public to advocate for biodiversity. Come help us raise awareness and strengthen our voice.
Tickets are $15, $5children under 12, and free for children under 5.
