Five people charged in death of man, 24, near St. Isidore, Ont., school

ST. ISIDORE, Ont. - Five people have been charged in connection with the death of a man whose body was found on Saturday near a school in St. Isidore, Ont., about an hour east of Ottawa.

A post mortem conducted on Monday in Ottawa confirmed that foul play was involved but police have not released a cause of death.

Two unidentified Ottawa men, aged 19 and 20, are to appear in court today on charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy.

A third man, Martin Lamoureux, 18, of St. Isidore, is also to appear in court today in L’Orignal charged with second-degree murder and conspiracy.

An 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl from North Stormont are also charged with conspiracy and were released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 1. The name of the 18-year-old is being withheld to protect the identity of the 16-year-old.

The body of the victim, identified as 24-year old Joey Faubert, was found outside a French Catholic elementary school.
