Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Insurer. Down 62 cents, or 5.57 per cent, at $10.51 on 8,625,379 shares.

Canadian Pacific Railway (TSX:CP). Down $2.38, or 3.13 per cent, at $73.70 on 859,241 shares. Commodity producers are relieved their products, such as grain and minerals, will be moving again now that operations by Canadian Pacific Railway have resumed after Parliament ordered striking workers back to the job.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down 18 cents, or 0.58 per cent, at $30.76 on 2,156,419 shares. The company reached tentative agreements with two United Steelworkers locals representing employees at its operations in Trail, B.C.The Vancouver-based company, which has a zinc smelter and related operations in Trail, said details of the agreement weren't being released until the union members hold their ratification votes.
Telus Corp. (TSX:T). Telecom. Down 65 cents, or 1.08 per cent, at $59.47 on 1,147,088 shares. The company will spend $650 million on advanced technology in Ontario over three years to support its wireless growth, resulting in 900 new jobs. Telus said Friday that it will expand its next-generation wireless network to more than 95 per cent of Ontario's population, extending the 4G Long-Term Evolution technology to the Ottawa, Barrie, Windsor, Muskoka, Kingston and Niagara areas.
