Live and let live

Comments

Editor:

I was thoroughly sickened this week after watching the video clip on the news of the three cougars on the beach in Roberts Creek, and hearing the gentleman say that he had called the conservation officer upon seeing them.

I have lived in Roberts Creek since 1967, alongside these beautiful creatures, and have been lucky enough to enjoy their beauty more than once. That is why I choose to live where I do.

Did this fellow not know that a call to the conservation officer is simply a death sentence to the animals? Did he not know that they do not relocate the animals anymore as they used to in the past?

I do hope that he is simply naive in what he has done, and I do hope that he continues to use his camera, and not the phone.
