Kudos to hydro crews

Comments

Editor:

Friday, Dec. 20, brought heavy, wet snow to the Sunshine Coast and with it downed power lines.

We in Sandy Hook have our fair share of outages when Mother Nature decides it is time. I must pass on kudos to BC Hydro as they have not only improved the infrastructure to Sandy Hook in recent years, but also have been quite diligent in providing accurate power restoration details on their outage site.

Of course, none of this would happen without the line crews who have to go out in less than desirable and often very risky conditions to bring the lights back on, so a tip of the hat to all of the Coast crews. No need to say keep up the good work, as this appears to be their normal approach to getting things done.
