Open coal shipments in nearby waters, gravel mining at McNab creek, the provincial government looking at LNG being shipped out of the old Woodfibre site, and now possibly the biggest news, all of metro Vancouver's garbage being shipped to Port Mellon for incineration.
Makes me think that a $26 million investment in our community that is clean and will return tax dollars and tourist dollars to our economy is anything but bad. Itís called The George.†Itís a hotel. Not very earth shattering. Most communities have one.
