SD46 wants your feedback

School District No. 46 is asking the community to let them know their thoughts on funding priorities for the 2014/2015 school year.

SD46 is hoping to get a broader range of input than ever before by using social media and on-line resources. Interested individuals can now contribute feedback to the school district at any time that is convenient for them.

The on-line survey can be accessed on the 2014/15 budget feedback form on the SD46 website at www.sd46.bc.ca in the budget section. The form consists of several questions relating to your top three funding priorities/areas of emphasis, rationale for these priorities, gaps in educational services, as well as a section to receive your comments.

The school district is striving to engage the community in the budget development process and this on-line survey is another option for interested parties to provide input.

“I encourage anyone interested to view the PowerPoint 2014/15 budget consultation presentation on the district website and then provide feedback using the on-line form,” said secretary-treasurer Nicholas Weswick. “We want to hear the community’s input on funding priorities as we face the challenge of budgeting, so it has the greatest impact on student success in the next school year.”
