A Gibsons woman accused of bestiality and possessing child pornography will go on trial to face those charges in the middle of 2013.
Kelly Adams, 38, appeared in Sechelt provincial court in Dec. 12 where she entered a not guilty plea to the charges.
The dates for her trial were then confirmed. May 29 has been set aside for a pre-trial conference with the trial set for July 31, Aug. 1 and Sept. 24 and 25.
Adams was charged in August with one count of possession of child pornography following a multi-jurisdictional investigation led by Sunshine Coast RCMP. On Oct. 17, she was charged with one count of bestiality under Section 160 of the Criminal Code.
Evidence presented in the courtroom falls under a publication ban and cannot be reported.
Forster to stand trial
Nicholas Sean Forster, 19, of Sechelt, charged July 14 with dangerous driving causing death and failing to stop at an accident causing death, will stand trial to face the charges next August.
Forster entered a not guilty plea to the charges in court on Nov. 20.
A pre-trial conference has been set for Jan. 4 with the trial set for Aug. 27 to 29 and Sept. 10 and 11.
The charges stem from a July 13 accident where 21-year-old Shelby Rowland died.
The collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. July 13 in the area of the Mason Road mine site in West Sechelt.
