The Elphinstone bantam boys are off to a 3-0 start in their basketball season after a 42-12 drubbing of Rockridge on Dec. 12.
In senior boys, Elphi improved to 2-1 overall (1-1 in league play) following a 62-46 exhibition win over Argyle on Dec. 11.
The Elphi senior girls are 1-2 following a 68-32 loss to Windsor on Dec. 10. Chat is 0-4 in league play following 80-30 loss to Collingwood on Dec. 11 and a 75-32 loss to Mulgrave on Dec. 12.
The Elphi junior boys dropped to 0-2 in league play after a tough 53-46 overtime loss to Collingwood on Dec. 13.
In junior girls, Chat is 1-3 in league play after a 48-6 loss to Seycove on Dec. 12, a 44-21 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas on Dec. 13 and a 60-14 loss to Argyle on Dec. 17.
The Chat juvenile boys are playing an exhibition schedule against North Shore teams this season. Chat lost 62-25 to Sentinel on Dec. 11 and 78-17 to West Vancouver on Dec. 12.

Each calendar costs $10. Proceeds from the sale of the calendars will go towards team uniforms and to bring more games to the Coast in 2013 once the ice is out at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre and the Sunshine Coast Arena in Sechelt is repaired.
The SC Roller Girls is a non-profit organization and are also currently training new recruits to get up to speed, and with more recruitment opening up again in the spring.
