Electric vehicles: where is the demand?

Editor:

On page 13 of the Aug. 17 edition of Coast Reporter it was stated that a plan is already underway to develop a Coast-wide infrastructure for facilities for the charging of electric cars.

Why? Is the demand so great? How many electric cars are on the Coast? How many more taxpayer dollars will be required for this, or does it matter?

Let private money develop the system if it is such a good idea.

Other council ideas need to be completed first. What about the covered bike lanes from Earls Cove to Langdale?
