Tossing aside our morals: rebuff

Editor:

Keith Wallace has exposed himself in his letter (Coast Reporter, April 27) regarding the Bare Cedars Nudist Resort. Not only does he have a preconceived notion of the citizens of Roberts Creek, but also he has revealed that he’s sorely lacking an imagination. Nudist colonies are bastions of conservatism. Twister is not the preferred pastime rather healthier activities such as buff bocce, volleyball au natural, raw tennis and for the less athletic, dress poker. In this inclement economic climate we should not be discouraging tourist dollars. Let's not overlook the spinoffs; patchouli sunscreen, tie-dyed beach towels, hemp sunhats. Please Keith, don't hold back the tide, this is bound to benefit the entire coast.

As for sex on the beach...isn't that a cocktail?
