Just a reminder that Denise O’Brian will be celebrating the publishing of her book The Prison Dance at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt tomorrow (Saturday) from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
This year why not celebrate Earth Day in Roberts Creek, but we’re celebrating Community Planting Day on Saturday starting at noon. Bring your tools to downtown Roberts Creek and participate in the planting of new gardens.
Also on Saturday Honour the Earth with SoulCollage from 1 to 6 p.m. in a celebration of the Gaia archetype and our own sacred places on earth.

On Sunday at 11:15 a.m. there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for our new pathways and gardens. Check it out at the Gumboot Cafe.

The Roberts Creek Community Association annual general meeting is Wednesday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the hall. You are invited to attend and elect the 2012/13-executive.
In case you are wondering the Farm Gate Market has moved back to Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. at the hall.
Curry in the Creek is on Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. while the R.C. Hoopgroup is in the hall from 5 to 6 p.m.
Did you know that there is a new Youth Centre in Sechelt?
The Centre is located on Trail Avenue opposite the fire hall. It is a drop-in type of venue open Tuesday to Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. For more information call 604-885-2729 or check them out on Facebook.
The 6th Roberts Creek Scout Group now has some openings for Beaver Scouts (ages five to seven) and Cub Scouts (ages eight to 10). Both groups offer great outdoor programs at Camp Byng, or surrounding locations and lots of activities with a great leadership team.
