New author, Micheal D. Mann (Oswald) launched his new book, I am a man who cries, to a standing-room-only crowd at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt on Sunday, Jan. 20. MC David Roche called the reading an historic occasion. He designated Mann a pioneer for doing something that’s changing the world. Mann who was diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder at an early age writes brilliantly about his life with all its challenges and triumphs. His passionate reading of his work translated into a sell-out of all the available books at the launch. Fortunately there are more for readers wanting a copy. Orders can be made at hhalet@telus.net. The publisher, Jane Covernton hopes to have the book in local bookstores soon.
