Sunshine Dragons Abreast Fashion Show

Sunshine Dragons Abreast held their annual fashion show for a sold-out crowd at the Sechelt Seniors Centre on Oct. 25. The appreciative audience were treated to the latest fashions courtesy of the participating stores: Blue Magnolia, Extras Imports, Fossello’s, Georgian Trading, Palmeros, Lucys, Suzanne’s and Trail Bay Source for Sports. Each of the attendees received a piece of jewelry courtesy of Swish, the beautiful store on Gibsons’ waterfront, delicious snacks courtesy of the Upper Crust Bakery in Halfmoon Bay and personal wine service all evening from the Dragons’ supporters. All of the women models have been touched by breast cancer and urge everyone to have regular mammograms and to be aware of changes in their bodies. A portion of the proceeds go to the Sunshine Coast Hospice Society, the balance go to furthering breast cancer research and to supporting the Dragon boat team.
