Final Fling

The “Final Fling” marks the end of the dragon boat racing season on the Sunshine Coast. This year, teams from Powell River, Sechelt, Pender Harbour and Vancouver participated in the fifth annual 2012 Final Fling at the Garden Bay Pub last Sunday. Taking home the gold medals this year, with the lowest time for two 200-250m races, were the MacKenzie Mussels, the silver went to the Pearl Warriors and the SeaGals took the bronze.
