Duck Pluck Children's Festival

The 11th annual Children’s Festival and Duck Pluck managed to dodge the rain showers Saturday as families enjoyed the music, art and theatre in Dougall Park in Gibsons. This fundraising event is hosted by Sunshine Coast Community Services Society and raises money for their child development programs including Parent-Tot Drop-In, a popular family resource program; Bellies and Babies prenatal nutrition program; and Mother Goose, a language development program. The money raised provides the much-needed financial support for these programs, which help parents give their children the best start in life.
