Ten community volunteers were recognized with Sport BC Community Sport Hero Awards at a awards ceremony at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre Wednesday night. The volunteers recognized were Jan Richey, Sean Whalen, Ian Armstrong representing his father Carl Armstrong, Darren Smith, Tom Poulton, Dan Tsuji, Eric Sullivan, Jill-Marie Jarvis, Lesleigh Farr and Brenda Rowe.
