Gibsons Rotary Art Auction

Gibsons Rotary Club and The Sunshine Coast Artists Co-op held another fantastic wine tasting and art auction on April 27. The event drew over 160 folks from all over the Sunshine Coast. Bidding, led by auctioneer extraordinaire Ed Hill, was fast and furious on several stellar works of art. The sampling selections included award winning wines and several artisan beers. More than one taster went directly to the beer and wine stores to find their choice when the evening was over. Most of the money raised will go to Getting Equipt program for St. Mary’s Hospital renovation. One of the highlights on Saturday was a presentation of $50,000 to St. Mary’s foundation.
