The Sunshine Coast Clean Air Society is pleased to host Michael J. Bradley as speaker at its annual general meeting on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Stalashen Clubhouse in Wilson Creek.

Bradley has been involved in many important environmental initiatives in B.C., including the Great Bear Rainforest agreement. His talk, New Tools For Sustainable Thinking, will impart fresh ideas that anyone can use to better protect our precious - and precarious - environment.

The Clean Air Society has been active on the Sunshine Coast since 2002, implementing programs and offering support to initiatives that promote clean, healthy air. Their affiliation with like-minded regional groups along with local educational proactive approaches has resulted in growing awareness of air quality issues. As well, the society has been instrumental in open-burning bylaw implementation in several coastal communities and has been collecting and monitoring data that will enable progress toward a safer, healthier future for the Sunshine Coast and beyond.
